SECOND CHANCE SUNDAY AT GRACE

Last Sunday, May 26, was another great day at Grace! We celebrated Second Chance Sunday, led by Amelia Boomershine and our guest preacher, Heidi Arnold, who also told the scripture. Our very special guest, Fairrin Moss (pictured above), shared her experiences as a restored citizen. We had a guest soloist, Maggie Weckesser, who sang “Ave Maria” and “The Prayer of St. Francis”. After worship, we had the opportunity to visit with Marlene Steele, one of the artists whose work is on display at Grace. LUNCH AND LEARN

Register by tomorrow, May 30, to attend the Lunch and Learn next Sunday, June 2, after worship. We will hear a report from Rev. Tracy Chambers on the 2024 General Conference, held in Charlotte a few weeks ago. Some important decisions were made—come to eat Lunch prepared by Dayton Cooks! PRAYER FOR ANNUAL CONFERENCE

Pastor Steve, David Larson, Roberta Longfellow, and Myrna Miller are attending the West Ohio Annual Conference through Friday. Congregations have been asked to pray at select times for the work of the Bishop and the conference members. Grace has been signed up for this evening, Wednesday, May 29, from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m.
