Loving God, loving neighbor, living in community.

Grace Church is a faith community in the heart of Dayton seeking to follow Christ’s examples of love, peace and justice. We are a diverse urban community of persons who value connecting to God and one another. We believe that it is good to question and to seek. We may not always believe the same as one another, but the people of Grace Church believe in God’s love and one another. Grace is for everyone!

Grace Church’s message for children and youth focuses on God’s love, God’s love of children, and God’s love of all the world.

Stories of the Old and New Testaments, as well as other materials, are used to illustrate God’s love.

Children and youth are always welcome in worship!  They are an invaluable part of our congregation, and the sound of a baby, even a fussy one, is music to our ears!  Children and youth sometimes take part in our worship services as acolytes or in other ways.  Our pastor regularly has a Children’s Moment during worship, with a message for and with children.  After this, children may leave for their own worship service.

Dayton Cooks! Education in the kitchen.

Learning basic skills in the kitchen is not only good for a happy healthy life; it can lead to self-esteem and a rewarding career. In this free 10 week program, professional chefs and skilled classroom instructors teach students basic culinary skills and how to feed their neighbors. Students receive job skills, apprenticeships, help applying for jobs, and preparation to take the ServSafe exam for certification.
