SUNDAY AT GRACE
Congratulations to Grace member Rex Huselton! He was presented with a quilt from the Quilts of Valor Foundation through the Miami Valley Quilters Guild. The organization stitches quilts for veterans and active-duty personnel to recognize their service to the nation. Over 398,000 quilts have been awarded nationwide. We join them in thanking him for his service to the Grace community, as well!
The rest of the worship service was equally inspiring, as Pastor Steve used the story of manna from heaven to explore what he called “God’s Wilderness School”, which teaches us to trust that God will provide. If you would like to watch the service, click HERE for the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.
A BUSY MONDAY AT GRACE!
Grace will be hopping on Monday! The prayer group will meet in the Blue Room at 10:00 a.m., followed by Pastor Steve’s Study at 11:00 a.m., also in the Blue Room. He will continue leading an exploration of “Revelation for the Rest of Us.” AND, starting at 10:00 a.m. and continuing until about 3:00 p.m., Dayton Cooks! will be wrapping 10,000 brownies to serve as dessert at the upcoming Thanksgiving Community Dinner. You can help! Any time you can give to the project will be much appreciated.
THANKSGIVING FOOD COLLECTION
Grace will collect non-perishable food items to help families of students at our partner school, Louise Troy Elementary. Please bring in contributions throughout November. Most desired are canned fruits and vegetables, with pull-top lids, please! (Not everyone owns a can opener.) Thank you for sharing God’s bounty!
