SUNDAY AT GRACE

It’s Epiphany Sunday! The end of the Christmas season and the beginning of a new year. Pastor Steve’s message will be “An Epiphany”, and we will celebrate Holy Communion. The worship service will begin in the Sanctuary at 10:30 a.m., but please come at 9:15 a.m. to the Blue Room to participate in the new Sabbath Study, “Courage to Learn”, led by Rev. Dr. Amelia Boomershine. And, of course, enjoy coffee, tea, and a pastry in the Ladies’ Parlor at 10:00 a.m. It will be a great way to kick off 2025! JAIL COALITION CELEBRATION

The Montgomery County Jail Coalition is turning FIVE and they are throwing a party to celebrate their commitment to change and to assemble their community to envision their next phase.

Join in on Wednesday January 22, from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at Grace United Methodist Church for an evening of looking back and looking ahead. And, yes, there will be pizza and cake. It is a party after all!

The Coalition’s history and high points over the past five years will be reviewed. We will also collaborate to write a new mission for the Jail Coalition. RSVP using this link.

PASTOR’S STUDY HOUR

Come to the Blue Room on Monday, January 6, at 11:00 a.m. for the beginning of a new Pastor’s Study Hour series. With Pastor Steve’s leadership, we will explore just how the books in the Bible we use came to be included. Join us for learning, discussion, and fellowship!
