April is Second Chance Month—a nationally-recognized celebration of second chances, fresh starts, and breaking barriers for people who have been impacted by the legal system. Our worship this Sunday, April 27, at 10:30 a.m. makes special recognition that all men and women, including those with a criminal record, are made in the image of God.
For this special worship service on Sunday we welcome back to our pulpit Willie L. Templeton, Jr., Chaplain and Program Director of the Montgomery County Jail. Our friend Heidi Arnold, professor and volunteer at Dayton Correctional Institution and Sacred Stories at the Jail, will tell a resurrection story and introduce restored citizen Anna Litteral. Anna will bear witness to the risen Christ’s impact on her life during and after incarceration.
We hope to see you in worship! If you are not able to attend in person, please join us virtually HERE on the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.
