HANDBELL CHOIR REHEARSAL

Come one and all to rehearse ringing handbells in preparation for participation in the October 20 worship service! We will meet tonight, Wednesday, September 25, at 6:30 in the Blue Room. If you can’t make it tonight, please plan to come for the following rehearsals on October 2, 9, and 16, also at 6:30 p.m. in the Blue Room.

CHRISTMAS HELP IN OUR COMMUNITY

The Kroc Center Christmas Food Assistance program ensures that families in need experience joy and relief during the holidays. They rely on committed volunteers to make it all possible. Volunteers aid in collecting information from those families in need to ensure that all who need assistance can receive it.

Here are the details:

• Weeks 1 and 2 (Phone Intake Only):
  • Dates: Monday, October 21 – Thursday, October 24 and Monday, October 28 – Thursday, October 31.
  • All intake will be conducted over the phone during these two weeks, with no in-person interactions required.
  • Two to four volunteers are needed per shift to help manage phone applications.
    • Available shifts (Monday-Thursday):
      • 9:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
      • 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
• Week 3 (In-Person Intake):
  • Dates: Wednesday, November 6 – Friday, November 8
  • 15-20 volunteers needed per shift to assist with the increased volume of in-person applications.
    • Available shifts (Wednesday-Friday):
      • 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
      • 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. (Wednesday only)
