Each October, YWCA Dayton recognizes the strength and resilience of domestic violence survivors at their annual Voices Against Violence event. This event is critical for raising awareness about the widespread crisis of domestic violence in our community, and your support is critical to supporting their front-line services. As the operator of the only domestic violence shelter in Montgomery County – with a corresponding 24/7 crisis hotline – each day they support and shelter more than 100 women and children seeking lives free from violence.
The evening also includes the recognition of the Vision of Hope Award, which honors women and organizations who embody the spirit of survivorship and resilience. The event is Thursday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m. at the Dayton Arcade, 35 W. 4th Street. To learn more, click HERE.
