SUNDAY AT GRACE

Worship on Sunday centered on the famous story of David and Goliath, ably told by David Larson (pictured above). Pastor Steve’s message was “God Leads Us in Battle”, part of the sermon series God Is At Work. His point was that our battles are spiritual, not physical, and that God will lead us to victory. If you would like to watch the service, click here for the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube. The worship begins about ten and a half minutes into the video.

OUR AMERICAN JOURNEY

Following worship and box lunches from Dayton Cooks!, a group of Grace people were transported by the Grace bus to Sinclair College, where we had an extremely interesting and informative tour of the exhibit “Our American Journey”. The exhibit displayed the hardships and triumphs of Black Americans throughout the history of our country. We are grateful to Michael Carter of Sinclair for sharing his collection and his stories, Cindy Cary for arranging the tour, and Rex Huselton for driving the bus!

SAVE THE DATE!
