THE WEEKEND AT GRACE

On Sunday, Pastor Steve’s message was “God Responds”, the second part of the sermon series God at Work. It was based on scripture from 1 Samuel 8:1-18. We are grateful to Eve Palmer for sharing her musical gifts. Due to some technical glitches, the video on YouTube starts at the beginning of the sermon. You can watch it here on the Grace Church Dayton channel.

On Saturday, The Dayton View Historic Home Tour returned. Hosted by the Dayton View Historic District, attendees who purchased tickets went on self-guided walking tours of seven historic homes in the neighborhood. The tour began at the pump house on Harvard Blvd., and Grace’s parking lot was used. Around 200 people went on the home tour, and about 100 of them took advantage of guided tours of the church building! Thanks to Larry Ramey, Rex Huselton, and Pastor Steve for extending that hospitality!
