SUNDAY AT GRACE
The difficult topic of “The Work of Reconciliation” was front and center during worship on Sunday. Beautiful music, inspired telling of the story of Joseph and his brothers, and a meaningful message from Pastor John combined to make a wonderful worship experience. LUNCH AND LEARN
Following worship on Sunday, about 25 members and guests gathered for a Lunch and Learn about “Our Christian Response in the Middle East”. Pastor John presented a video of United Methodist missionaries to Palestine and a brief recounting of his experiences in Palestine. Four guests of various nationalities and faiths also spoke of their personal ties to the region and the paths they have followed. Food was plentiful (and delicious) and from a variety of cultures. The information and conversations were edifying and thought provoking. We are grateful to all the many hands that worked to make this possible!
