Our amazing day continued with the Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra’s Stained Glass Concert. Music by Mozart and Schubert filled the Sanctuary with beautiful sounds (top photo). Sonya Moomaw, 14-year-old cellist, knocked our socks off with the first movement of Haydn’s Cello Concerto No. 1 (lower left). And the Grace Choir sang the rousing “Hosanna” by Kirk Franklin, arranged by Neal Gittleman, with echoes of Earth, Wind, and Fire and Dayton funk (lower right). A reception followed the concert. A huge thank-you to everyone who contributed their talents—and cookies!
