The Brunner Literacy Center is reaching out with an urgent and heartfelt invitation to you. Their mission is to increase literacy in Dayton and surrounding communities by providing free, one-on-one tutoring to adults.
They need more compassionate and dedicated volunteer tutors. Tutors are not required to meet only at their Center in Trotwood. Student and tutor pairs may also meet at local libraries, parish spaces, or other community locations that provide a supportive learning environment.
No teaching experience is necessary; only a willingness to listen, guide, and encourage. They provide training and ongoing support for all of their volunteers. By giving a few hours a week, tutors can transform the lives of adults who are eager to learn and succeed.
