God of surprises, break through the life of Grace Church and its people. Reveal to us new ways we can be faithful and fruitful, moving into the future you have in store.
CONSECRATION SUNDAY AT GRACE
You are invited to a dinner after church on Sunday in the Parlor downstairs. It will be catered by Dayton Cooks! Fried chicken is on the menu, and there will be a vegetarian option. This meal will celebrate the conclusion of our annual stewardship campaign. You do not need to participate in the campaign to attend the luncheon. This is an opportunity for the entire church to come together, and there is no cost. If you and your family plan to attend, please contact the church office at lisa@graceumc.com or at 937-278-4731.
Don’t forget the other activities on Sunday morning! At 9:15 a.m. in the Blue Room, join the adult class for an exploration of John Wesley led by Dean Pulliam. At 10:00 a.m. in the Ladies’ Parlor, there will be coffee and pastries. And at 10:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary there will be worship, led by guest preacher Rev. Ashton Dupler. His topic will be “Movin’ On Up: Jesus, the Jeffersons, and Generosity”.
FOOD COLLECTION
Thanksgiving is just around the corner! Grace United Women in Faith is sponsoring a collection of food items for Louise Troy Elementary School for families in need. You are invited to bring in canned goods with pull-tab tops, stuffing mixes, pasta and pasta sauce, and other non-perishable food items this Sunday, November 17. Please help out as much as you CAN. Thank you!
