SUNDAY AT GRACE

Come to Grace this Sunday! At 9:15 a.m., you are welcome to join us in the Blue Room for a discussion of The Color of Compromise by Jemar Tisby. Coffee and pastries are available in the Ladies’ Parlor at 10:00 for a period of fellowship. There will also be a table in the hallway by the office where you can get assistance with voter registration. And, of course, you won’t want to miss worship at 10:30 a.m.! Pastor Steve will lead us in an exploration of how “God Leads Us in Battle”. If you are unable to worship in person, please join us virtually here at the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.

OUR AMERICAN JOURNEY

In honor of Juneteenth, a private one-hour tour has been arranged for this Sunday, June 23, of a special exhibit at Sinclair College entitled “Our American Journey”. This exhibit examines the African American journey using various artifacts to capture the determination, courage, and resilience of Black people in America. Michael Carter, Sinclair’s Chief Diversity Officer, will host our tour. There is no cost for the tour; however, there is a donation box if you are so inclined. Parking will be free.

The tour will begin at 1:00 p.m. Dayton Cooks! has agreed to provide box lunches in the Blue Room following our church service. Each lunch will be $10.
