SUNDAY AT GRACE

Say farewell to 2024 and look ahead to 2025 this Sunday, December 29, at Grace! We’ll participate in a Wesley Covenant Service, when we will affirm God’s call on our lives, commit ourselves to faithful discipleship, and offer our intentions for the coming year as a community. Soprano Maggie Weckesser will provide music for the occasion. Also, please consider coming at 9:15 a.m. for the adult class in the Blue Room, when Rev. Dr. Tom Boomershine will lead the conclusion of the “Journey to Bethlehem” series. Coffee and goodies will be available at 10:00 a.m. in the Ladies’ Parlor, and then worship will be at 10:30 a.m. If you can’t attend in person, please join us virtually HERE on the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.

CHRISTMAS EVE AT GRACE

The Christmas Eve worship service was a wonderful experience, with liturgical dance by Jasmin Hines, music from Gabrielle Flannery, Stephen Ramos, Charis Weible, and Joe Severyn, and spirit-filled telling of scripture by the Boomershines. At the end, we sang “Silent Night” by candlelight, accompanied by acoustic guitar. STAFF LOVE GIFT

The Grace UMC Leadership Team invites everyone in the Grace community to contribute toward a Love Gift for Grace staff members. Checks should be written to Grace UMC and have the notation “love gift for Grace staff”; donations made by other means should include the same information. Donations will be received through this Sunday, December 29. Thank you for your help in making this tangible gesture of love to the folks who support us and the Kingdom.
