Sunday, April 26, was Pastor Steve Putka’s last Sunday at Grace. His message was “The Voice That Still Leads Us”, teaching us that our shepherd is Jesus, and that does not change, even when pastors do! To see the service, click HERE for the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.
Steve wrote on Facebook: “With tears, we shared our last Sunday of worship together today. I am grateful to God for the time we had in ministry and service. You are a profoundly blessed congregation with healthy, Christlike DNA. May God bless you in your bright future. Remember, no matter who leads you in your life, listen for the voice of the Good Shepherd speaking through them!”
Following worship, we gathered in Fellowship Hall for small bites and big goodbyes. We are grateful for Pastor Steve’s time with us, and wish him all the best with his next congregation at Hilliard United Methodist Church.
