Many of you know Johnny and Diane Roman, who have both been a part of the Grace Urban Development family. Diane previously served as the Family Resource Coordinator at Louise Troy before resigning due to her cancer diagnosis. Johnny has worked with Grace Urban Development for the past five years through the Dayton Cooks program.
Recently, Johnny was diagnosed with acute leukemia and was transferred to the University of Cincinnati Hospital for treatment. Doctors have informed him that he will most likely remain hospitalized for 10–12 weeks. In addition, Diane’s chemotherapy treatments caused severe cataracts. While she recently had surgery to remove them, she is not allowed to drive until her eyes have completely healed.
We are looking for individuals who are willing to help transport Diane back and forth to the hospital during this difficult time until her driving privileges are reinstated. If you are able to help, please email Debbie Nerderman at Debbie@graceurbandevelopment.org.
Thank you for your prayers, support, consideration, and willingness to help them during such a challenging time.
