SING AND RING!

There will be a choir and a bell choir providing some of the songs in Stories and Songs on Sunday, December 15. To prepare, there will be a rehearsal TONIGHT, Wednesday, December 4. Choir rehearses from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m., and the bells rehearse from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. The same will be true next Wednesday, December 11, and there will be a “dress” rehearsal with the storytellers on Saturday, December 14, at 2:00 p.m. It is a lot of fun—please join in!

DEATH PENALTY LEGISLATION

The Senate Judiciary committee is holding a hearing on S.B. 101, the bill to repeal Ohio’s death penalty, today.

Something you can do is call members of the Senate Judiciary Committee after the hearing. Contact information can be found by clicking on each member from the listing here. Tell Senate aides and staff who answer the phone your views on the death penalty in Ohio.

PECHAKUCHA NIGHT

PechaKucha Vol. 55 is scheduled for Thursday, December 12. Doors open at 7 p.m.; presentations begin at 7:30 p.m. It will be at the Roger Glass Center for the Arts, 29 Creative Way. Free parking is available in Lots D and S1. The speaker lineup includes Angie Kochenderfer, Terry Wiegmann, Lex Easter, Nick Arnold, Heather Tutt Robinson, Carolyn Reveal, and Chuck Johnson.
