SUNDAY AT GRACE

There’s a lot going on at Grace this Sunday!

It starts at 9:15 a.m. in the Blue Room with the adult study group as we continue our study “Why, God, Why?!” with a dive into the second creation story. What do we believe about the nature of God? Where did evil come from? How does sin fit into the picture? More ancient questions for contemporary reflection. Come and lend your wisdom to the circle.

After coffee and fellowship in the Ladies’ Parlor at 10:00 a.m., come to the Sanctuary at 10:30 to continue the worship series The Core Teachings of Jesus for Today. Pastor Steve will help us explore “Welcoming the Powerless”. If you are unable to attend, check out the worship service HERE for the Grace Church Dayton channel of YouTube.

Note also that this Sunday, September 22, is the last day to make your donations to the Baby Baskets for Wesley Dayton’s Baby-Ready program.

And, for those who registered, the Grace United Women in Faith will host a Lunch and Learn after worship on the new UMC Social Principles.

INTERFAITH FORUM

The Interfaith Forum of Greater Dayton is hosting a program on “Mental Health Awareness and Suicide Prevention”. It’s this Sunday, September 22, from 3:00 to 5:30 p.m. at the Sikh Society of Dayton, 2320 Harshman Rd. This is a chance to meet with professionals and faith leaders of the Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Sikh, Muslim, Bahai, Jain, Buddhist, and other faiths to learn about their perspective on issues of mental health and suicide prevention. For reservations, contact Dr. Singh at 937-974-6856.
